Anyway, let's speak a bit more about the mapping... I told you earlier that some rooms feel copy-pasted but now is time to focus other aspects of the maps in this mod...

First of all the atmosphere is great and captures the feeling of each level. The dark corridors of the laboratory sections feels desolate and abandoned just as it should be eventhough they are not that barren.

There is no lack of tension either. Even though you could predict some of the enemies and when they are going to appear, as the game is constantly giving something new you are not going to get bored.

Another thing that is really great about the maps that they are self-guiding: you will always know where to go. For instance if you see a locked door, you can safely bet that the needed key is somewhere nearby and vice versa.

Oh, I was thinking whether the level 8 had a mapping mistake as the very end of the level there were shock barriers in front of the elevator that disappeared even though I didn't enter any password to the console... But after watching the video again, I guess that this was intended as one of the logs refer to a terminal that can be logged without the password.
