Next up on LV426 week Aliens TC for Ultimate Doom. This was one of the very first total conversions for a Doom game and one of the very first mods to come out based off a movie. I had played the first level of this before but it was without commentary and it was before I had beaten Ultimate Doom on Ultra Violence so I was playing on the wimpiest difficulty. Now I'm revisiting it on Ultra Violence I intend to play through all the levels on Ultra Violence including the secret level. The 1st level is called The Landing Pads this is based off of when the marines first land on the planet just like in the movie you don't encounter any enemies don't worry they will come soon enough. This level is basically just so you can stock up on ammo and weapons. The 2nd level is called Atmospheric Processor this is when all Hell breaks loose as here is when you first start encountering the Xenomorph hordes. This mod can still invoke tension even today I knew what was coming and I still freaked out. Aliens TC definitely holds up even today in terms of fun. Granted there are some mods that are definitely harder but keep in mind this was one of the first ones so to do this back in the day was even more impressive given the limited amount of tools they had to work with. In the next video levels 3 and 4 which are Med Labs and Operations which is split into two levels in the 1st one like in the movie you seal off Med Labs to protect yourself from the Xenomorph hordes. Then in the 2nd part you must escape from Med Labs. As always I hope you enjoyed this video, please like, subscribe and leave comments.
