Let's Play Anguna: Scourge of the Goblin King - Virtuous Warrior [Evercade #72] [8/19/22 Stream]

NOTE: No, the number in the title is *not* a mistake. This is the 72nd Evercade video (*not the 27th*) I recorded - but I am uploading it now because of the Game of the Month stuff.
So, before trying this, I played through Anguna 1 on Indie Heroes Collection 1, and I liked it! It was a decent-length adventure game (though there was a point I softlocked and would have had to restart without a backup save-state...) and was fairly enjoyable!
It's cool that the sequel - this game - was actually made for *lesser* hardware (and I hope we get the 2600 version as a bonus or something with Indie Heroes 2).
This game was so short! I beat it start-to-finish in this one video, having never played it before. Nearly all of the mechanics from the first game are re-used here, so it kind of felt more like a 2nd quest than a separate game.
My only complaint is with how short it is. Considering it's only an 8-bit game, it makes sense, but that's why it puzzles me why it was made for lesser hardware and not 16-bit like the 1st one.
It's a very good game! Enjoyable, not too hard but not too easy, the leveling system is unique - I just wish the game was longer...
But yeah I highly recommend it and Indie Heroes 2 so far. Every Game of the Month has been solid!
(I just hope we get more variety after this...the genres on Game of the Month/Indie Heroes 2 so far has been pretty standard and nothing stands out...)
