I'm not gonna lie, this collection confuses me. Why are there 3 racing games on this one, and 2 so far with similar controls? It just kind of seems like a waste, especially because the Evercade has so many other better racing games.
Hover Force is a very unique game. I like it a lot, actually - it's a bit more involved than one might expect at first! The Skiing game is alright, at least there is a lot of variety with it. And Reversi is reversi - being able to choose the board size is cool but it's just reversi still...
Regardless, I think the savior of this first half is Cloudy Mountain. It is so much fun! And the fact that it is (semi-)randomized each time makes it infinitely replayable, too! Though there are only 4 map types, the mountain types are always different, and the interiors are random too!
I think the 2nd half overall will be better than the first half, but Cloudy Mountain (and most likely Tower of Doom too) will make this collection worth it, alone! :)
