This LP charts an experiment of mine as I try to tackle BG2 as a solo character with no NPC companions. The rules I have set myself are:

-Core Difficulty
-No Companions (obviously)
-No Re-loading unless killed
-No using/wearing items unless Identified
-Resting only when I've pretty much exhausted my spells and other resources, or at sensible, natural times, like at the end of long quests

I am playing the game with no mods save the Widescreen mod, which can be found here:

I am playing as a Fighter/Mage/Thief for access to a wide range of abilities that will hopefully provide fun and varied gameplay.

This isn't an RP-heavy run through. Nor is it a "true" representation of what a game of BG is. As such, if you're new to the game, this LP is likely not for you. I do assume that the watcher has a basic knowledge of the game while I play, though having said that I do provide summaries of conversations and plot points for a more rounded approach and less of a speed-run style in gameplay/commentary.

I welcome comment and debate on my tactics and your own, and thoughts on how things are going in general. These are long videos, though, so please remember to include timestamps when needed.
