Story: Emperor Frostkill defeated Ryuk, and Ryuk is furious that he must forever leave his stronghold. Orpheus is once again, Frostkill's home and stronghold. Meanwhile, for the final destination on their vacation before going back to their homeworlds (each to their own), our heroic team decides that they will pay visit to the planet Betora within the Flame Spider Nebula in the Hyperspace, where the Rainbow Kingdom has established their mining facilites in which they mine gold, jewelry and long-lost artifact. Floria organizes another friendly competition, where once again, her royal family, Slango's family and Shadow Dragon Clan will compete against each other And this time, they will compete in who can excavate most of the hidden treasures under surface of planet Betora, which will later be used in humanitary purposes after they are unburied from earth's grip. Let the mining competition begin.
Gameplay: Fourth "secret" and final mode I'll show you is Diamond Mine, my most favorite and best mode in the game, and I saved the best for last. In Diamond Mine, your mission is to dig as many gold, jewelry and artifacts as possible within a time limit. There are many Dirt squares here, matching adjacent gems near them will remove them. Rocks, Stones and Boulders are same as Dirt, but require several more matches to remove. All Special Gem effects break down rocky ground by two "layers. Dark Rock can be removed only by matching Special Gems adjacent to them, whose effects will remove them. Only six gem types are present here, making match slightly easier. When all the earth above the Dig Line is cleared, you will receive 30 extra seconds. But if you can remove all the earth on grid, you will gain a Mega 90-second Bonus. Game ends when you run out of time.
Spoilers: Regal Unicorn is actually a bust of Bjorn, the unicorn character from the Peggle series. Mysterious Frog is actually a replica of frog from Zuma Series, while Legendary Gem is a game icon for the original Bejeweled game. Diamond Mine was initialy name for the game, which was later changed into Bejeweled.
