Let's Play Buck Rogers Matrix Cubed 2 - Whose Side is the Chancellor On?
Recorded with BB Flashback Pro.
Game published 1992 by SSI (Never re-released on CD-ROM; presumed abandonware).
Dr. Romney hands us a bundle of "papers" (maybe a tablet computer?) containing plans for a promising technological device, just before he's kidnapped by a goon squad of Earth-Firsters (who all wear rings with the initials "P.U.R.G.E.", whatever that stands for). After we tangle with a disguised squad of RAM assassins, Chancellor de Sade (whose very name reeks of "bad guy") gets impatient with our team, and orders us to hurry up and get to the chamber where the new Sun King's coronation will take place. While Lord Berkeley is busy promising the assembled dignitaries pink fluffy unicorns & the Age of Aquarius, we spot some of the guests drawing weapons. We save Lord Berkeley's life (by forcing him to "hit the deck") and take out his assailants (presumably without harming any of the other guests). Lord Berkeley ("His Majesty" now) directs us to report for our reward . . . to Chancellor de Sade! (Obviously, "hitting the deck" didn't knock any sense into the new Sun King!)
