Tifa is off at a team event, so Jack gets to play another game he loves and she... doesn't.
Chameleon Twist came out in that awkward time when video games were just making the jump to 3D. But just because Super Mario 64 hit that floor running, well, not every game did. Some were plain bad, while others had some good ideas but didn't really execute them well. Chameleon Twist falls in that latter category.
Davy, a regular ol' chameleon, is chilling on his favorite stump when he sees a weird bunny in a snazzy dress and one trip through a magical pot of magicalness later, he gets turned into a "Donut Steel" level anthro Sonic OC and chases after the rabbit. Luckily, the rabbit waits at the begging of every world Davy goes to and provides more or less useful hints!
And so Davy - or one of his friends - sets out to... get through the six worlds before him. Good thing these places were just waiting for an anthro chameleon to use it's super long tongue to swing around poles and pull itself towards them, so there's plenty of that. Like some other colorful, famous lizard character, Davy and friends can also swallow enemies and spit them out. They even do a little flutter when they jump! It's all around adorable.
Let's find out if the game really is too easy - as critics at the time lamented - or if, just maybe, the camera will become the greatest threat, as it so often does in these games...
