On today's episode of Let's Play Chrono Trigger, we have the ending. Took a little longer than I wanted. I'm prepping for family vacation
Overall, I'd say the game was great. The story works and Lavos truly is a great villain.
I could have done with better bonus content than fetch quests. And Lucca's ultimate weapon is crap. Gimmicky random damage weapons suck and she deserved better.
Dual techs were a unique idea and I wish future games went back to them.
Multiple endings were at the time a revolutionary idea. Even today, the multiple endings of Chrono Trigger can be considered revolutionary. Most games with multiple endings assign them based on where you are on the good/evil meter.
Though I won't be showing off the multiple endings in the near future
