Let's Play Command & Conquer: Red Alert (PSX) #9 | Allies Mission 9: Evacuate Kosygin
Are the Soviets supposed to be this docile?
Command & Conquer: Red Alert is a 1996 real-time strategy game and the sequel to the original Command & Conquer. Initially, the game was only available foe DOS and Windows 95. In 1997, it was ported to the PlayStation.
The PlayStation version of Command & Conquer: Red Alert leaves the gameplay and graphics intact, but changes the interface to accommodate the PlayStation controller. The game also supports the PlayStation Mouse.
To fit the game on two discs - one for the Allies, one for the Soviets, some cutscenes were removed. Furthermore, there are no alternative maps to select and only one map per mission remains.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert's expansion packs, Counterstrike and The Aftermath, later received a combined release for PlayStation under the name Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Retaliation.
