So I originally was going to play Snowdrop Escape, but the voices weren't working and I wasn't about to serve my viewers a Let's Play of a game that was slightly broken. I don't know what the problem is there, but I'm not only who has this problem so I'm moving onto the Birthday Project. Welcome to one of the first PC games I've ever played back when my first computer was a handmedown Windows 3.1. The game itself has no music which bothered me then and still does today, but thanks to power of editing, I can put in the music myself using any track I choose. We follow the adventures of a boy genius named Billy Blaze who, unbeknownst to his parents and babysitter, has an alter ego named Commander Keen. He travels through space in his rocketship, made from household items, to defend the universe. He decides to plan a trip to Mars and be the first person to set foot on the red planet. Unfortunately, an alien race called the Vorticons are planning to sabotage his mission and destroy him. As Keen goes exploring in the Martian mountains, Vorticons take apart his ship and steal four vital parts required for liftoff and hide them across the installations on Mars Keen must get these parts back and head home before his parents do.
