0It's important to go here immediately after completing the first level. An ambient level such as this one requires an ambient track. What I used is the best I have. My choices are pretty limited thanks to Nintendo's DMCA takedown boner. I wish I could use something from the original Metroid, but instead, I had to choose a track from Mega Man 2. About this place and the Martians, the Martians consist of the Yorps, whom we've already met, and the Garg, whom we meet one of them here. The Yorps were slaves once upon a time until one of the NASA Viking spacecrafts squished the Martian King. Now they're free and the Garg's are friggin' angry all the time. The Yorps worship Earth objects as Holy relics. In one of their shrines, we find a pogo stick which will be very useful. Here's where the controls get annoying. Activating the pogo stick requires pressing the Alt button which is next to the Windows key. If I make the mistake of pressing the Windows Key when I meant to press Alt, you get what happens in this video.
