Overall I thought the game was alright - it was fun but I felt it needed a lot more going on. The enemies were pretty dull, the weapons felt flaccid and the level design felt far too flat even though I liked that aspect of exploration. It definitely had its moments but with that surprise ending, I just don't see much point in playing it again but I am thankful it was kept short at the very least. Although I did adore the music in the ending sequence and I would LOVE to know if there's an OST out there for me to listen to and I think D.C. Douglas' voice work was excellent so it's worth playing for that as well!
The angels cometh to take us away. And now the scavengers come out to play. We're going blind into this 2D survival horror metroidvania shooter type of game thingy! Lots of exploration, slow and intense atmosphere and shooting tons and tons of little alien buggers and flying toxic bumholes! It gets pretty mash indeed!
