Let's Play Didnapper 2 Truth Part 25: That familiar kidnapping guild
5We head to the Underground passage where we encounter the Kidnapping Guild from Didnapper as their filenames suggests (D1 standing for Didnapper 1) where we encounter Alastair and Leroy, a returning character from Didnapper who is only seen in this Chapter. We fight Alastair and witness the corruption that the Exceed can do which is exactly Kaie mentioned at the end of Chapter 6.
Notable changes are that Leroy's character graphics was changed to match his bust graphics and how he looked in the original Didnapper. The previous graphics were likely based on his battle graphics on the original game. Alastair is now tied up with anti-chromatic ropes when taken to the dungeon cell making him one of two male characters who get tied up.
I remember struggling against Alastair in 1.2 that I had to use most of my items. I'm guessing the updates (is it 1.2.1?) toned down his difficulty. I believe it's harder if you don't use the Root Crystal since even Eileen's healing isn't enough to keep the HP up.
