0You thought map 29 was hard? This is even harder. Yep. You read that correctly. This is HARDER than map 29. There are enemies popping out of every nook and cranny, tanky and fast-firing, then there's the room with the platforms and spectres at the bottom. That area is VERY difficult due to the limited visibility and poor lighting in Doom 64. Even if you turn your brightness up to the max, it's still tough to see where you're going and the narrow side staircase is easy to miss. The secret in here is also hard to get because you have to do a precise run off the last platform then go through a timed door while walking across a narrow ledge. It may be brutally hard, especially this early in the game, but it's cleverly made.
