Let's Play Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World (Part 2) - A Warrior's Lineage
Now this is where we're entering an era of DBZ that's a bit more on the... "experimental" side. At this point with Budokai and Tenkaichi, so far they've been just honing on what has already been created with Budokai becoming better and better, while Tenkaichi 1 to 2 is galaxies of an improvement.
However around the early console generation of the PS3, Dimps (and later Spike) would do some weird things to expand on the single player content, like gimmicks with in-match cutscenes (Burst Limit), altering and experimenting heavily just between games with their own engine (Raging Blast, Ultimate Tenkaichi), and here with straight-up minigames.
I guess you could say we really are entering "that" era of DBZ games where the only shining beacon of competitive sharpness and great replayability is BT3 for... MANY years to come.
