Said I'd have a new project up and I did.

I think you all remember Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku. It was a load of shit. Hit detection fuckups, bad dialogue, fucking pterodactyls, dumb difficulty curve meaning you more often than not get murdered by dogs early on and people tend to do massive damage to you, level be damned, canon fuckery, all sorts. About the only good thing about it was the music. But evidently, it must have sold a hell of a lot on the strength of brand recognition alone as we soon got a sequel.

And yet wouldn't you know it, Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku 2 is actually a rather GOOD game. I mean its no masterpiece but compared to the last game its fucking fantastic. Also it turns out I blamed Infogrames for most of the bullshit from the last game but it was really Webfoot's fault so go kick their arse. Or rather don't. The hit detection's beter, music is good, dialogue is good, it doesn't screw with canon as badly, its actually a decent game.

Anyway judging by the title screen, its about the Cell Saga, a tale of time travellers, Androids and bug men going on a rampage. Good thing that they skipped that Garlic Junior rubbish filler. This time you get to play as more than just Goku, which is cool. To wit, Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks and Vegeta, Prince Of All Saiyans, are playable, and you can even unlock Hercule/Mr. Satan later on. SPOILERS. You might even see a movie character or two if you're lucky. Anyway this LP's gonna be more informative and calm. If I do try to have a conversation with another character like I did with Viridi in Zero Mission, I'm gonna keep it simple and stick with either Piccolo, Vegeta or both. Keep things simple.

Also yes I will still talk about Goku torpedoing through the chest of the demon king. That shit was rad yo'.

I also wanna explain canon a bit better here since I'm in the mood. Keep your eyes peeled for annotations and shit as per usual. And let me know if you want me to have a quick peek at the Japan only International version.
