0Our next destination brings us to Egypt. The pyramids, the tombs, the traps, the fifth element, we deal with it all here and also the return of my most hated enemy, the Protector Drone. This isn't Duke Nukem's first time in Egypt...well, chronologically by canon it is, but there have been other games before World Tour's release where Duke Nukem fought The Aliens in Egypt. The first was in Duke Nukem Advance and the second was in Duke Nukem: Critical Mass. Also, it just wouldn't be a new episode of Duke 3D without a special cameo appearance by some action movie hero or video game protagonist that also lost the fight against The Aliens and since we're in Egypt, we have the corpse of Serious Sam himself or rather his original First Encounter design where he was basically a Duke Nukem ripoff wearing a white tanktop with the serious bomb logo. Good riddance to that design.
