Dungeon Master is not only a dungeon crawler, it is THE dungeon crawler which defined what most games of the genre would look like.
It introduces the mechanic of interacting with your enviroment and how to use it for puzzles and similiar.
It came out in 1987 and was released for several systems including Atari ST, PC, Amiga, and even the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
The version I'm going to play is the Amiga version (naturally).
We found some coin inside the dungeon.
Finding riches is normal in a dungeon and is to be expected.
Sadly most of the time it means you have to use said riches to continue further inside.
Which leads me to one conclusion:
...Dungeon Master invented pay to win...
