NOTE: Apparently this is NOT the actual Release version. Developer forgot to update the default branch at the time I got this game key. I spoke to the publisher and developer afterwards and they said there was a mix up with the update. I will be streaming a full release version next. Enjoy this gameplay. It is different from the demo. This game releases on September 25.
In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Dungeon Tycoon Beta Version (v0.1.16) which is different from the Demo Prologue Version (v0.1.11) with tons of new content where I will play beyond the 14 days restriction normally in the demo. This game plays like "Dungeon Keeper", "Evil Genius", "Rollercoaster Tycoon", "Theme Park", "Galacticare", and "The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot" with "Minecraft" like graphics style. In this game, you are the Dungeon Master in the dungeon building business, and your goal is to make a profit from creating dungeons (theme park like) for Adventurers and Heroes to explore (hack and slash / dungeon crawl). Each visitor is charged a fee for entry to your Dungeon Theme Park, and you can sell them potions from your dispensers, and give them a chance to defeat various monsters (when killed fill the nearest treasure chest with gold so they can loot). This game offers a variety of strategies for placement of your Monster Spawners, loot chests, lighting, traps, potion dispensers, and more. Research new upgrades and dungeon placement items. Things like campfire for heroes to rest, totems for attack and defense buffs, and respawn pedestals. Complete Quest Goals for rewards. You'll need to strike a balance between an easy dungeon and hard dungeon to give your visitors a challenge to maintain popularity rating (satisfaction) to attract more adventures. But you'll also want to be able to collect souls from dead heroes that can be used for a variety of things such as upgrading your Monster levels. You start with planning your dungeon and then open it up for the day like a shop or an amusement park, at the end of the day you can spend your earnings to build new dungeon rooms, improve or adjust your existing dungeon from your profits. You get to observe the Dungeon Simulation live each day and also make some adjustments like a Dungeon Master would, such as raising and lower the prices of your potion dispensers, reassign your monsters spawns, and even level up your monsters. Lots of Base Building and Tower Defense elements. It was very fun playing this game. It's really fantastic. I highly recommend adding this to your Wishlist and checking out the demo yourself.
