Fossil 6 - Dimetrodon
Story: Dimetrodons are an extinct genus of non-mammalian synapsids that lived during the Cisuralian (Early Permian), around 295–272 million years ago. They are members of the family Sphenacodontidae. The most prominent feature of Dimetrodons is the large neural spine sail on their backs formed by elongated spines extending from the vertebrae. They walked on four legs and had a tall, curved skull with large teeth of different sizes set along the jaws. Most fossils have been found in the Southwestern United States, the majority coming from a geological deposit called the Red Beds of Texas and Oklahoma. More recently, fossils have been found in Germany. Over a dozen species have been named since the genus was first erected in 1878.
Gameplay: Yet another easy-medium fossil. You will notice as you play that sometimes, eggs will shake a little bit. When you see that happening, you have to shoot them quickly before they stop wiggling. If you can break such eggs, then they will hatch a Bonus Baby that will give you bonus points and will give you an egg with a power-up attached to it to fire with.
