Well, here's a new series out of nowhere! Avernum 4 is still on it's way, but I feel that some variety is in order.
In this first episode I create a character that's probably going to suck, and I try to find my bearings in a completely unfamiliar world, engine and ruleset. Yay!

The first part of a trilogy of old school, isometric role playing games, Eschalon: Book I was developed by Basilisk Games and released in 2007 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
In this single-character, turn-based adventure inspired by the classics like Ultima and Might & Magic, we fight to regain our former powers and lost memories, and find out who's trying to use us as a pawn in their plans, and what those plans even are.
