Today we finish mapping Thaermore, discover the secret of the Eggs, gain much power, storm the goblin stronghold, run across the desert a lot (mostly off-camera) and maybe find the ultimate prize... a teleporter so I never have to run across the freaking desert again.

The first part of a trilogy of old school, isometric role playing games, Eschalon: Book I was developed by Basilisk Games and released in 2007 for Windows, Mac and Linux.
In this single-character, turn-based adventure inspired by the classics like Ultima and Might & Magic, we fight to regain our former powers and lost memories, and find out who's trying to use us as a pawn in their plans, and what those plans even are.
