5Let's Play Final Fantasy 7! We head to the Temple of the Ancients in episode 23 to find a recently stabbed Tseng at the entrance. We have a run in with Sephiroth and a couple bosses and Cait Sith sacrifices himself (sort of) so that we can get the Black Materia - a destructive materia Sephiroth has been after which is capable of destroying the world. Cloud subsequently goes ballistic when Sephiroth mind controls him and we cough the materia right back up to him and hurt Aeris in the process. When we come to, Aeris has left the party to stop Sephiroth at the City of the Ancients. Understandably fearful of what he might do next, the rest of the party has to convince Cloud to chase after them.
