Right Hand: Sage's Staff *Bring Yoichi Bow and Silencing Arrows. Artemis Arrows are also good if you missed the dragons earlier.

Arms: Protect Ring *Bring Rune Armlet

Left Hand: Crystal Shield *Bring Aegis Shield
Headgear: Crystal Helm
Body Armor: Crystal Mail

Rydia
Right Hand: Stardust Rod
Left Hand:
Headgear: Gold Hairpin
Body Armor: Luminous Robe
Arms: Protect Ring *Bring Rune Armlet
Kain
Right Hand: Dragon Shield
Left Hand: Holy Lance *Hog Call if you have it, but keep Holy Lance in your inventory if you have the Hog Call equipped.
Headgear: Dragon Helm
Body Armor: Dragon Mail
Arms: Dragon Gloves
Edge
Right Hand: Moonring Blade
Left Hand: Masamune
Headgear: Ribbon *Bring Genji Helm so you can use Berserk later.
Body Armor: Black Garb
Arms: Diamond Armlet
The only new enemy you can meet up with in Rydia's floors is the Elite Trooper and it is a required enemy later on anyway in Edge's Trial. You can also still find the following Lunar Ruins only enemies on the one floor here that has encounters.
