Let's Play Final Fantasy Tactics (33)
So we run into a familiar flower girl which was the event we have been waiting for to trigger more side questing goodness.
The fight against Worker 7 is overall not that difficult if you just focus on beating the stage. But, if you want to collect the best shield and spear in the game, you have to come to this fight with a large monster (Dragon, Behemoth, or Worker 8) in order to reach the tops of the pillars with someone with Move Find Item. Worker 7 is around level 60, boosting its attack power and speed a reasonable amount while all its Work abilities have 100% hit chance.
It was a brutal fight and I had to rely on luck mostly in order to debuff Worker 7's speed enough to deal with everything else. Worker 7 has zero Faith so magic and status effects have no effect on it.
Also, this is the only place in the game (besides the final level and Deep Dungeon) where you can pick up a Hyundra which gives access to the best Hammer in the game as well as other awesome gear.
The spear and shield in this stage are named the same as the weakest spear and shield in the game but their icon looks different.
Completing this gets us another zodiac stone and turns Reis the Holy Dragon into Reis the Dragoner. Reis has great HP and MP despite being unable to equip any gear except accessories and female only items (which means she can wear a Ribbon). She starts off with innate Two Swords, Tame, Monster Talk, and Monster Skill making her great to work with monsters (especailly Dragons). Dragoners have high Attack and Magic making them good with physical attacks as well as her many Breath attacks.
As always, if you wish to make changes to your character or replace them with a unique class, let me know. We are just about done with all the side quests.
