The Empire wants the Esper tucked away in Narshe. Kefka and an army of soldiers marches forth to claim it for themselves,and it'll be up to Terra and her allies to defend it. This is the 2nd and final multi-party battle of the game. Same rules apply,if the enemy reaches the area where Banon is,it's game over. Make sure to equip your party members properly before the skirmish begins. Try to make 1 party capable of dealing with a boss if possible,I suggest having Celes in this party. Enemies include Troopers,Fidors,and Heavy Armors. Troopers have a tendency to counter you. Heavy Armors are dangerous enemies,use Magic or skills to deal with them. You'll mainly be fighting large groups of enemies at once,so stuff like Edgar's Auto Crossbow or AoE magic will help you greatly. When all the mooks are dealt with,proceed to the enemy's side. You'll have to fight a Rider first,and then you'll face Kefka as a boss. If you brought Celes with you,this fight is a cinch. Have Celes use Runic the whole fight,and Kefka won't be able to land a single spell of his on you. He can use physical attacks too though. Just be wary,as he carries Tier 2 magic,which is guaranteed to knock out a party member if it hits. Defeat Kefka,and he and his army will retreat from Narshe!
