Actually the Seraph Comb that Red XIII is using comes from the cutscene with Seto. It's a bug - the game never indicates that it's putting the item in your inventory (usually done with a text box that would say something along the lines of "Received 'Seraph Comb!'") but instead it just silently appears. I completely forgot. I didn't pay close attention to the name of the item I picked up on Mt. Nibel, which is Plus Barrette. Which is actually kinda bad.
