Welcome to Let's Play Final Fantasy VII Remake! This is a remake of the first Final Fantasy game I ever played back in 1997. This is also so my first time recording footage directly from the PS4 and so I don't have access to normal microphone filters like noise gates and the video resolution is capped at 720p. This will be a blind playthrough of the game and I'll ask people to refrain from posting spoilers to this game in the comments. however, I will be comparing this game to the original in my commentary and I'll welcome comments on comparisons once we get to comparable sections in this remake.

Since the recording method is so different, please let me know what you would like changed in the comments. I didn't know how much YouTube's compression would kill the video quality when the video was uploaded. since I can't get it to 1080p, it looks a lot worse than even the file on the PS4, which is already worse than playing the game live. However, aside from getting a capture card, there isn't anything I can do about it right now.


I love Final Fantasy VII and I'm looking forward to this game as well. I hope you all come along for the ride of nostalgia!
