20Let's Play Fire Emblem Fates Birthright & Conquest Gameplay Chapter 1 & 2! We get our first impressions of Fire Emblem Fates Birthright & Conquest for the 3DS, starting with Chapters 1 & 2! We create our male Corrin character, and start up the story of Fire Emblem Fates! This will just be a one off episode as opposed to a full walkthrough / playthrough, but we will likely live stream more on Twitch if people want to see more!

Lin got the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition that comes with Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations! It also has some cool extras like a carrying pouch and an artbook, and all the games on are one cart! We might show off the special edition in an unboxing later.
Today we basically run through the opening of Fire Emblem Fates, and review the basics of the gameplay. I haven't played Fire Emblem Awakening, or anything since the GBA Fire Emblem came over years ago but Lin's been playing quite a bit. Should be fun!
The english version of Fire Emblem fates has gotten some backlash as they have censored out the hot new Fire Emblem petting mode gameplay where you stroke your waifus and stuff. I do think it's irritating that Nintendo feels the need to remove content from their games before letting us play. Censorship has always bothered me, I prefer to play the games the way they were originally intended... I mean if you don't like a certain game mode or something, just don't play it.
Fates is set in the territories of the kingdoms of Hoshido and Nohr. Their royalty share a similar line of descent from ancient dragons, but each kingdom worships different dragon deities, and so exist in a state of war. A third central location is the hidden kingdom of Valla, a place only accessible during peace between Hoshido and Nohr. Once ruled by humans, it is now ruled by the dragon Anankos, who is worshiped under different guises in Hoshido and Nohr and uses that to provoke war.
Anyway, Fire Emblem Fates Birthright & Conquest is looking great! I enjoyed the gameplay so far, and the presentation is very nice! Solid Fire Emblem Fates review so far. I really like the characters so far. We met Felicia, Jakob, Azura, Kaze, Rinkah, Sakura, Subaki, Hinoka, Setsuna, Hayato, Oboro, Kagero, Takumi, Kaden, Ryoma, Yukimura, Elise, Camilla, Keaton, Leo, Gunter, Iago, Xander, Flora, and probably more! You can also use the amiibos Ike, Lucina, Marth & Robin to play with too! Fire Emblem Fates Let's Play time!
