Let's Play ~ GAIA, Part 9
5Getting down to the last grind here people.
I was just getting agitated at this point...
When you build the Ship Assembler, which I did off screen, you are told by the PDA that the Raids will increase because they think you found some kind of ancient time-skipping device and are trying to fly off-planet with it and they want to stop you.
Raids did in fact increase in occurrence, and randomness of them increased as well. You can get 2 - 3 back to back, then nothing for over an hour. Or hit with NOX (poison-gas atmosphere) AND a Raid at the same time. Nice, huh?
Anyway, I showcased the Ship Assembler, as well as all the parts that came with it:
♦ Tempest (The actual spaceship itself)
♦ Ship Parts (parts needed to build the Tempest)
♦ Ship Turrets (various damage/speed Turrets to place on Ship)
♦ Missile Silo (Missile launchers for ship)
♦ Nuclear Missile Launcher (really?)
♦ Ammo Crates (to store all the different ammo)
♦ Shield Generators (to protect the ship during combat)
♦ Hydrazine (Ship fuel. Also showed where/how I got it)
I then proceed to find a nice spot near the water, away from enemies, and start building the ship. Afterwards, start placing all the ship components.
