Let's Play Half-Life Ep.07 Beast From The Deep?
26On the seventh episode of Let's Play Half-Life, Gordon is still on a rail heading towards the rocket launch site on the surface. But after a few more traps, environmental hazards, and military ambushes, we reach the surface. After overhearing a few Grunts vowing revenge against us for killing them (when they were trying to kill us) we gun them down, and take over the launch control room. We successfully launch the satellite delivery rocket needed by the Lambda team, before continuing on our way to meet them. After a much shorter ride on another rail car, we drop into another old section of Black Mesa that has flooded. However, it seems the scientists were using this area to hold an aquatic monstrosity, which we watch consume one of them. Hopping into the rusty old shark cage, we find a crossbow that doubles as both a sniper weapon and an underwater one, and do battle with the jittery beast. Continuing on, we find a "generator room" full of giant platforming pistons. After another chat with a plot scientist, we're attacked by a room full of leather-clad assassin ladies before being jumped by the most successful Grunts yet.
