Let's play Hand of Fate - part 02 "Jack of Bones"
The second adventure is a bit more difficult but still nothing I could not handle. We get a shield right away, the dealer is still nice to us and the deck grows larger with beneficial cards. It won't always be like this, though. The further we push, the harder the game gets, the fewer positive cards and the more enemies at each step. Everybody likes a good challenge though, right? It wouldn't really be a roguelike otherwise anyway.
Please note this is a BETA VERSION, but the game gets updated frequently and changed a lot in the time I have been following it. So it's not one of those "beta games" that will be updated once a year, this one is truly under a lot of development.
Description of the game from Steam/Official webpage: "In a cabin at the end of the world, the game of life and death is played. Draw your cards, play your hand, and discover your fate. Hand of Fate is a hybrid roguelike/action-RPG/deck builder, in which the player builds a set of cards into a deck, which is then used to deal out the dungeon floors through which they adventure. Upon entering a combat, all of the cards the player has collected fly into their hands as fully modeled 3D assets, and combat begins. "
