Although Erathian heroes seem to peek out from the "fog of war" area, they aren't actively trying to retake Mudlander (now, "Tatalian") territory for now. During this relatively quiet period, Tarnum and his lieutenants are able to confer and consolidate troops. Korbac & Shiva head back to their starting castles afterwards to collect more troops, while we get cracking on building the upgraded versions of the troop recruitment structures in those castles.
Meanwhile, Tarnum finds a land route to access that Erathian castle captured by the Red player early on in this scenario. Should he head straight for the castle, or visit the nearby stat boosts first? Decisions, decisions!
