While we will try to get all the paths, all the QTEs, all the deaths, and all the story... the beauty of this game is it might not be possible. But your FlightlessBird will do the best he can do before moving onto the fourth dark pictures game: The Devil in Me, expected to be released in 2022?
🐧 This game was made for the PS5! Unlike the previous, this will bring us new challenges and experiences not yet to be experienced. It is my hope to bring to you many other horror games on this channel, check out our playthroughs of Silent Hill 1-4 for example, with the others coming after. I am a HUGE fan of Until Dawn, having played it multiple times and can't wait to dive into more horror stories. Our first horror game on the channel was a point and click adventure called Gabriel Knight: Sins of our Fathers. This expects to have many more scares... but go check out that playthrough if you have not seen it.

🐧 About #HouseofAshes (thanks to the Dark Pictures fandom wiki): House of Ashes is the third installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology series. It is an interactive horror game developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for a multi-platform release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and, for the first time, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 22, 2021.
As the first game in the anthology to be released on a new generation consoles, House of Ashes also features many new mechanics.
The most important innovation is a difficulty setting: Forgiving, Challenging and Lethal. Players are now able to adjust the speed of QTE execution to their liking. Aiming QTE has changed - instead of aiming at a specific point, it is now enough to aim at a zone. Fixed cameras are entirely replaced by a 360-degree camera, and the flashlight has also been added, allowing to explore dark caves in search of secrets and paths. If the character does not have a flashlight, they may have an alternative source of illumination (lighter or torch).
House of Ashes follows five main protagonists, who fall underground during an unexpected earthquake and end up in an ancient Sumerian temple. The playable characters are four Americans - three military personnel and one CIA agent - and one Iraqi soldier.
Supporting characters and antagonist include: other members of the American raiding party and the Iraqi patrol, figures from the Akkadian Empire and underground monsters living in the temple.
