Megan, Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D were too late. Quantum Cannon has destroyed planet Xandar, and the triumphant Ozymandias escaped in his time machine to enslave its citizens. Feeling heartbroken, Megan deserted S.H.I.E.L.D, and went to commit suicide, only to find Time Lord Simultaneous, who granted her a time machine upgrade for her ship, and that the hope to save planet Xandar, lies in returning to the past.
