Let's Play Lagoon - Part 3 - How Would You Know!
While I've heard of people getting stuck in the first town because the game tells you to go to the wrong shop to buy a sword that you can't proceed without, that is, at least, fairly easily solved by looking in all the houses. Now, the tablet in the cliffs around Philips Castle? If you didn't know it was there, what are the odds you would never think to explore there?
I mean, up until now, all the borders of the ground have had invisible force fields keeping you from going off the edge. But here, you kind of have to take a leap of faith to get over a pit that may not even register to you as being a pit, especially since the screen refuses to scroll enough to allow you to see more than a sword-length's worth of the cliff across the pit.
While I still like this game, mostly due to nostalgia, it's really easy to see how it ends up on "Worst of" lists pretty consistently.
