Welcome back to Laplace's Demon. In the last episode the intro and getting our party together. In this episode I briefly explore Weathertop Hall and yep this is definitely an RPG within seconds I get attacked. I stupidly went in to battle without being prepared I needed to buy some film and some bullets. I take my party back to the dry goods store and stock up and then we head back inside. I wander around and before too long I am attacked by an Animus which is a ghostly creature. I try in vain to attack it with my weapons but it keeps dodging my attacks. I then decide to have my magic user attack it with a spell and this hurts it. Animus can attack with a cold breath which hurts multiple party members. Best to have the magic user blast away with Aura Fist. Animus can also attack with a moan or a whimper which also hurts multiple party members. The journalist is actually the most important person in the party because with out them you will go broke. See the journalist can take photos of the monsters you fight and sell them at the hotel. You can look at the photos of the monsters you took at the library as far as I know that looking at the photos is all you can do with them I was hoping for a description of the monsters and maybe how much hit points they have you know like in Symphony of the Night. Anyway most of the video is just me fighting monsters and accumulating money from the photos. I do however explore Weathertop Hall a little bit and find a use for the holy water and get a jump scare in the form of a talking painting. The talking painting it doesn't appear to hurt my characters just made them shiver in terror. The holy water is used to extinguish the flame in the fireplace what is my reward for doing that I get a silver ring. The silver ring can attack an enemy's mind I don't know if that means I can paralyze an enemy with fear or do damage. I haven't tried the item out yet. I also get attacked by monsters in a closet my reward for beating them is an amulet. According to the description it also can afflict the mind what that means I have no idea. In the next episode I will most likely explore more of the haunted Weathertop Hall and fight more monsters and take more pictures which will get me more money.
