Welcome back Laplace's Demon aka Laplace No Ma. In the last episode after tons of battles offscreen I showed off the results all of my characters have reached level 2 which means they have more HP and more MP then they did at level 1 which is good because I take down a really tough door demon which attacks me when I try to open a certain door. Defeating this demon grants me access to the room where I found the ghost of a butler who gives me a key exploring this room further I find an old bible I literally have no idea why we need this but considering how tough that door demon was it will most likely be very important. I also found the map to floor 1. In this episode I was originally going to go upstairs but I ended up exploring the basement level instead. The basement level includes some new monsters like creepy dolls that are alive, banshees, and wraiths. I also found a statue that was actually a fountain and pulling the lever caused the area around it to fill with water I hope I was supposed to do that because now I can't reach the statue afterwards I wander around some more and a dead adventurer on the floor contains the map to the basement floor in his pocket which is cool I can now see where I am at and where I need to go next. I explore a room in the northwestern area of the basement floor and encounter a glowing symbol when I step on it I am attacked by something that I would have been killed by eventually if I didn't have an item that I accidentally picked up wow talk about lucky. Anyway after defeating the creature the elder sign can now be unsealed. I have no idea what that accomplished and if it was good or bad. Afterwards I encounter a ghost in one of those rooms that tells us about the creature and about the item that we need before confronting it however we already found that out ourselves. I did find a cameo brooch in the drawer though what it is for I have no idea maybe we need to trade it for a cross at an antique store no wait this isn't Phantasmagoria. I also found a bookshelf in the room which contained a book that after reading it learned the blind invocation. I guess that means I know a new spell now. I head back to town and head back to the psychic-medium luckily I have enough skill points so I level up my characters some depending on what abilities they use the most. Like the journalist for instance the higher his photography skill is the better chance his pictures won't come out crappy when they are developed. Obviously if your character has a higher shooting skill level less likely that he will miss when attacking an enemy. In the next episode I plan to maybe go up to the second floor or maybe find another stair case that leads down on the 1st floor because there are still areas of the basement that haven't been explored yet.
