Batman and Robin are trying to track down where Joker went off to when he receives a transmission from him showing he's captured Commissioner Gordon and if he doesn't arrive in time, he's got plenty of hilarious methods to do him in for good. Our duo arrive at an abandoned theme park and reach the circus tent where Gordon is in a cage. Joker gives Harley Quinn the honor of killing Batman. After subduing her, Batman leaves Robin to keep her busy while he unlocks Gordon's cage. Robin has a little trouble so Batman tosses a batarang to assist. Once Gordon is free, Joker arrives in his helicopter and fires several rounds at Batman while intentionally missing every shot and getting away. Why he did that, you ask? Well, he likes to keep Batman on his toes. Sure killing him would be easy, but he said it himself that "Without Batman, crime has no punchline."
