Let's Play Lords of Shadow | Part 28: The (Blind) Finale
6Just... wow. Definitely didn't see that coming. Also, I feel like I end my Let's Plays pretty awkwardly.
Level Played: 12-1
With this, my Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Let's Play comes to an end! This game definitely has ambition coming out the wazoo, and it shows in the game's presentation and gameplay. Story-wise, I didn't really think much of it until this final level. If you don't know what I mean, watch the video!
The visuals in this game are definitely amazing with great detail in the aesthetics. As for gameplay, I personally think the game handles well, with minor exceptions in regard to knowing where to jump down a ledge as well as the finicky autosave feature. While some people have told me the game rips off God of War and Shadow of the Colossus, I've never played any of those games, so I couldn't say for myself if that is true. Plus, in a time where most games carry a shorter gameplay time but then just add a crapton more gameplay time in the form of DLC, Lords of Shadow is a breath of fresh air in terms of giving you more bang for your buck (for the most part).
