Although I did it wrong, I still got the blue passcard. It was inside the container of edible bandaids...the quirk about the inventory system in the game is that if you take an item from a room, all the items contained in that item will automatically get pulled out and separately placed in your inventory. So, when we grabbed the bandaids, the blue passcard just popped into our inventory as well.
