It's time to take on the last installment of Mega Man on the NES in the 6th one. I like this one a little better than the 5th game, but that's down to the weapons not being as terrible...even though I will probably end up using them less. Also, having Rush powers that don't run out in the middle of a stage helps, but you'll see that when we get there.
Flame Man and his stage are pretty easy. They add in flaming oil to sub in for spikes in some places, and the mechanic of riding the enemy across the flaming oil is novel. Flame Man is one of the easier bosses to take on with just the Megabuster. Not the easiest(that's Plant Man), but as long as you can measure out just how far to stay away from him, the flame pillars won't hit you.
And why start with this stage? First, there's an E-Tank here, so once cleared, it can be returned to to farm up a full allotment of the suckers, and second, the Rush power adaptor will make most of the secrets in the other stages available.
