I'll be alternating between X and Zero in this playthrough.
I will be taking on the main bosses to the game with the X-Buster/Z-Sabre and not the weaknesses. I'm doing this purely for challenge perposes, because I quite frankly find the game too easy otherwise. I will be using boss weaknesses against the 8 Mavericks in the Fortress levels only to prove my point.
DON'T MOAN ABOUT IT.
Altough this is my least played entry in the series, I'm simply trying to play Megaman games differently to how I used to - therefore - I don't use weaknesses unless needed. This is my first time attempting the bosses without using boss weapons.
Deaths mean nothing to me. I commentate for comedy perposes. THIS IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A SUPER-PLAY.
Secondly, using the bosses weakness in this level is SUICIDAL FOR ZERO.
Meet the third most annoying Fortress stage in the X series. The most annoying happens to lie in X6, and X7 (of course).
As if Quickman's stage wasn't enough of a pain in the ORIGINAL series.. at least then, you didn't cling to the bloody walls!
Also - Black Devil = hate.
The only saving grace of the battle is that it's pretty much pattern based. The problem? Look at the damage he deals. Getting hit by his energy weapon once takes off almost half your life as Zero.
Also colliding with him, or his green outline, is instant death. Brilliant.
Good job Capcom, you made me hate a Megaman boss other than Quickman. :P
His weakness is the electric weapon, as usual, but trying to use it with Zero is nothing short of suicidal. Did I mention colliding with him at any point is instant death?
Sorry this took so long to get up, long story short, the living room hasn't been free all week. :/
Also apologies for the loudness of my voice... i've had to go back to my other headset because my main one is bust. Arrgh.
Thankfully we'll be moving the PC upstairs, hopefully in a week, so I should be able to record LP's without these interruptions.
