Metro 2033 was initially release in 2010, and has aged surprising well. It's a post apocalyptic FPS (First Person Shooter) shooter set in the bitter cold of Russia, and involves multiple survival and loot based concepts. The gameplay is very solid though not entirely open world, and the story is based on a best-selling book series, meaning, it's why the game exists at all.

This is picking up on a game in progress, but gives you a brief overview of the game itself and it's play style. Not playing this much recently, I struggle to make the most of my arsenal, and suffer the consequences.... Repeatedly.
