In this part, we will head to Norian, the Federation base, to help repel the Space Pirate forces. We are informed that we need to start up three generators to start the Defense Cannon. We will then come to learn that there is a giant meteor heading straight towards the planet. So, after starting up all of the generators, and defeating Ridely, Dark Samus comes in and attacks us. Samus somehow manages to start the Defense Cannon, destroying the meteor, and then passes out from the side effects of Dark Samus's attacks. One month passes and Samus wakes up to be told she is generating Phazon and is given the PED Suit.
