With the Hazard Suit in tow,you can now safely drain the energy barrier in the Command Center of the Pirate Homeworld. However,a security laser soon gives away your presence,blocking your access to the Skyway. So far now we'll just have to explore more of the planet elsewhere. We soon reach the Pirate Mines section. Here you'll use a giant drill to get a Missile Expansion and open a new path,and dodge past an indestructible Phazon Harvester. The next thing to get is the Nova Beam,but you'll have to fight for it. You'll fight an endless horde of Space Pirate Commandos in a large room. The goal is to wait until the machine in here starts a suction,then kill a Pirate to send it flying. Then you can damage an exposed part of the machine. Do this 4 times,and the Nova Beam is yours! Used this new Beam to get an Energy Cell and a Missile Expansion,and open up a new Landing Dock for the Gunship.
