Time for the final battle with Rhapthorne! Make sure everyone has 1 open item slot for the Godbird Sceptre. For the first part of the fight you won't be able to hurt Rhapthorne at all. You must use each character's turn praying to the Sceptre in order to make the spirit of a Sage appear. Of course Rhapthorne won't just be sitting there doing nothing. The ball of his staff attack hits twice at random for 100 damage each. Casts the Kaboom and Kafrizzle spells. Can put someone to sleep. He can breath fire,and summon meteors to hit the whole party. Use your turns to either apply buffs and heal,or use everyone to pray to the Sceptre. Once all 7 Sages appear,they'll destroy his barrier and fully restore the party,so time to fight! Now he can smash the party with his arm,and recover his HP and MP. All attacks from the previous phase are still available to him now,especially that physical ball attack. Have Jessica act as support while Angelo focus on healing,lower Rhapthorne's defense with Yangus or Jessica,and then have Hero and Yangus focus on dealing damage. Cast Accelerattle and Oomph at least for a speed and power boost,until Rhapthorne decides to dispel them. This can be a long and difficult fight,but keep an eye on your HP and you'll eventually come out on top!
