Metroid Prime - Part 1
Sometime after defeating Mother Brain, Ridley and the Space Pirates (Metroid Zero Mission) Samus investigates a distress beacon near the planet Tallon IV. There she finds out the Pirates are bioengineering creatures from Tallon IV, but things have gotten out of control. At the power core of the the ship she finds one of their living and successful experiments, badly wounded the the Parasite Queen falls into the reactor causing a chain reaction that will destroy the ship. Samus uses the maintenance tunnels to get through the exploding ship, while escaping she runs into and finds that the monster that killed her friends and family, Ridley, is still alive! As the ship explodes behind her, Samus gets in her ship and chases Ridley to the surface of Tallon IV.
