Really, that's basically what I do. After finishing clearing the the corner caverns, I start triggering the door traps (enemy spawns), but they are well too powerful for me right now. I get through to getting the Secret Door Key, but do not continue, as the Priests of Baa hurt!

So our next destination is decided; now to be able to reach it somehow.
